We came here for the grilled squid dish Ika yaki and we were so disappointed they didn't have it at the time. We ordered some skewers, the mini herachi bowl and the cubed steak & onion skillet. Everything was amazing! The customer service was also great. We sat in the area where you have to take off your shoes and we loved it. This spot is great for a late nice bite with friends or a cute date. Also it's open super late, I believe we came here at like 2am and they said they didn't close til 10am and start serving breakfast at 5am. Also don't forget the honey cake! The original one is huge!

The beef bowl was so good. They have so many options here. From curry to skewers. There's bound to be something for someone. It's across from busy Shang hai plaza but parking was fairly busy for us on a weekend. Service was good. Just remember if you want to sit in the area where you can take off your shoes you can reserve that.

Decided to have dinner here again and was somewhat surprised and a little disappointed they change to menu with also some minor price changes. The chicken fried rice is no longer available along with the shrimp tempera (although they did allow us to still order the shrimp). Thank goodness they didn't get rid of the Onigiri (they did change it from a order of 2 to only 1 with a slight price increase). They did add, what I believe is a new, a WagYu bowl that we tried which was really delicious. We also had the scallop, chicken and gizzard skewers, along with a dragon roll and onigiri which all were great. The service was good and attentive.

Food: 4/5 Ichiza hits the nail on the head for late night in Chinatown! The reverse happy hour deals on the pitchers of Kirin were amazing and the food was quite good as well. I got the chicken skewers and brisket rice bowl. When they got to the table, they were excellent. Service: 2/5 Sure it's a late night spot, but the service here is just bad. Especially considering how many staff are working and standing around. We had 2 plates that never made it to the table even after kindly reminding 3 separate waiters. Environment: 5/5 The open kitchen and Family style environment is truly one of the kind and makes you feel a part of the experience. We had plenty of space and it was very clean as well.
